Royal Falooda Royal Falooda is wonderfully refreshing — sweet, chilled, and loaded with flavor. A perfect dessert to finish off a biryani meal. I would absolutely order this again.

I recently moved to Minneapolis from Dallas and was really happy to find Indian Bazar. As someone new to the city, this store has been a great find. The grocery section is very well stocked with a huge variety of Indian products from fresh produce and spices to snacks and specialty items. It’s clean, organized, and has pretty much everything you need in one place. They also have a restaurant inside called Desi Bites, and the food is amazing! The Desi bites special bone-less biryani and ginger chicken are especially delicious definitely a must-try. It’s so convenient to shop for groceries and enjoy great food in the same place. Highly recommend!

We dined in once and have ordered once since— in my opinion, it's the only authentic Indian restaurant in the area. I’ve tried several Indian restaurants ,but this is the only one that doesn't deliver tomato-based gravies under different names. Be warned the spice level here is real, unlike other places who claim to have 'indian spice' level. If not used to true Indian spice, you might want to ask for mild. We’ve tried the Hyderabadi Dum Biryani (Family Pack) and the Boneless Chicken Biryani (Family Pack). The latter is slightly spicier, with a flavor profile that's very reminiscent of South Indian spice levels. Would recommend the Hyderabadi one. portion size is really good. We also had the Hariyali Chicken Kabab and Malai Chicken Kabab. One thing I appreciate , hariyali kabab wasn’t overly green—a good sign that(maybe) they’re not relying on food colors. Both kababs were flavorful with a nice charcoal-grilled finish, though on the drier side. That said, the malai kabab didn’t have the creamy “malai” texture you’d expect in India. The Pepper Fish Fry was definitely worth trying. Lastly, I wouldn’t recommend the pastries from the grocery section—they didn’t taste good.

India Bazaar Deli is a hidden gem if you’re craving bold, authentic Indian flavors. The tandoori pomfret is easily one of the best items on the menu—perfectly cooked, well marinated, and packed with smoky flavor. Absolutely a must-order. The shahi gosht biryani is another standout. Rich, aromatic, and flavorful, with tender meat and beautifully spiced rice. You can tell it’s made with care and proper seasoning, not watered down. Great spot for satisfying, authentic Indian food—especially if you know what to order. I’ll definitely be back for these dishes again.

Only bought spices, chocolates, cookies and frozen spinach. Did not eat here. They should have someone on the floor to help you find things. Check out girl was polite and very helpful. Making chicken tonight. Can't wait to try their spices!

Our meals with so flavorful and delicious I had no idea what my entrée was when I ordered it but it was really good. The vegetable samosa was yummy and well as the garlic naan. There is plenty of seating with no servers to come to your table. You are served at the counter. The customer service was pleasant enough, kinda stand offish. I did not feel welcomed. There was no "Hi, welcome, how may I help you?" However, others who came in after my mother and I were welcomed warmly. If you were there, you might have understood why the difference. Anyway, I will go again only because the food was so good.
